Challenge about the project

The real challenge for DBCloud is to innovate the neuroscientific sector by providing a cloud solution to analyze data deriving from neuronal activities. The aim is to innovate this sector that still relies on the use of desktop applications dating back to the 90s.

BEFORE

The team unfortunately inherited a pretty unstable platform that was using a wrong architecture and was using pretty basic and bad looking material components everything combined in a very rough MVP experiment.

AFTER

Diagnostic Biochips is nowadays one of the most innovative projects Lasting Dynamics is still working on.It's a mix of data science, neuroscience, research and experimentation to achieve unique UX in a pretty hard niche, deployment of complex spikesorting algorithms in cloud under dockerized environments on scalable clusters and SaaS platform development around a new innovative business model in this industry. The client wanted initially few developers to test us, after 3 months he doubled the amount of engineers involved, after 6 doubled again.We developed in avg 6 new features each micro-iteration and after less than 1 year we had already a desktop app, a web app and an admin panel deployed under beta testing.
