Academy process

This is how we interview, select and train all talented developers that you find in our Academy

Attitude Interview

Our HR team analyses all candidates’ CVs, checks the score of their assessment and evaluates the academy candidates’ mindset with a cognitive first interview.

Tech interview

Developers that pass the first interview are later evaluated again by our senior software engineers that for 45 minutes analyze really in-depth their skills and decide if they could join the Academy. Rejected candidates, can attend the Academy interviews again after 1 year.

Academy onboarding

Lasting Dynamics Academy is an onboarding process with limited access to the training. For this reason, only the best candidates can join it. With this strict process, we grant to onboard in every quarter classes only developers with already good knowledge on the proposed stack that also accrued some experience on the market.

Daily Training, Mentorship & Code Review

The Academy is a full-time 90 days training. Each month we analyze how it is going and adapt the Academy based on the candidates learning speed. 90 days is the maximum duration for a talented candidate to deep dive their attitudes and learn how to work in an Agile team, but some very brilliant participants might finish the class earlier, in 45 or 60 days: this represents a unique opportunity for you to interview them first.

Weekly retrospective

Each week all candidates join a weekly retrospective, in which they show their codes and exercises in depth getting valuable feedbacks from one of the most experienced professional full-stack developers we have on board. They also plan the work for the next week, prioritizing all tasks that might be worth to improve after the call.

Monthly assessments and The Final Exam

Academy developers have up to 90 days of pretty intensive theoretical training, which is also supported by exercises, a mid assessment and a final exam. This process helps them to gradually release their potential and properly absorb all the notions. All of them receive daily support and mentorship by some of our best senior profiles, that provide them answers, code reviews and testing.

Real project development

After the Academy, all candidates join one of our teams on ongoing projects. In this way they have the chance to understand how to work in a structured team with responsibility and acquire problem solving skills.
